Questions people actually ask
No jargon, no nonsense. If your question isn't here, ask us on a discovery call.
What does a HighLevel consultant actually do?
They set up HighLevel so it does the boring bits for you: replying to new enquiries, texting back missed calls, booking people in, sending reminders and asking for reviews. A good one starts with how your business actually works, not with a list of features. That's what FKIT does for businesses in Burton, Staffordshire and nearby, and we'll tell you straight if you don't need it.
What is HighLevel, and is it the same as GoHighLevel?
Yes, same thing. HighLevel (often called GoHighLevel or GHL) is one platform that holds your contacts, enquiries, calendar, texts, emails, forms and review requests, with automations tying it all together. Instead of five apps that don't talk to each other, you get one place to see who's been in touch and what happens next.
How much does business automation cost?
The HighLevel platform is £97 a month + VAT. Set-up is FKIT Up & Running, from £297 + VAT, and that covers up to about 3 hours. Care plans are optional if you want us to keep an eye on it. Texts, calls, phone numbers, email and WhatsApp messages are passed on at cost, as you use them, with no markup. The full prices are on the automation page.
How much does HighLevel cost with FKIT?
The monthly platform price is HighLevel itself. Set-up, care, changes and automations are extras. Texts, calls and email sending are billed on top as you use them, and add-ons are optional. Every price, in pounds and plus VAT, is on the automation page, so you can see it before we talk.
Is HighLevel worth it for a small business?
It's worth it if you actually need what it does: follow-up, booking, reminders and one place for enquiries. It's not a magic lead machine, and if you only need a simple email tool, it's probably overkill. On a discovery call we'll tell you which camp you're in, even if the answer is 'don't bother'.
Do I need a new website to use HighLevel?
No. Keep your current website, or don't have one at all. HighLevel can take enquiries from your site's forms, Facebook and Instagram lead forms, a booking link or a QR code on your van, and run the follow-up from there.
What is missed-call text back?
When you can't pick up, the caller gets a text straight away saying sorry you missed them, with a link to book or reply. It means the plumber, salon or accountant who rings while you're up a ladder or with a client doesn't just ring the next name on Google.
Is it legal to text people back automatically in the UK?
Replying to someone who has just called you is generally treated as a service message, not marketing, but keep it about their call, say who you are and let them reply STOP. Marketing texts and emails to individuals are different and usually need consent. We set things up with the ICO's rules in mind, though we're not your solicitor.
What should I automate first?
Whatever's quietly costing you money. For most small businesses that's missed calls, slow replies to new enquiries, no-shows and forgetting to ask for reviews. Fix one or two of those properly before adding anything clever.
How long does it take to set up?
A standard Up & Running set-up is about 3 hours of work: the account, branding, domains, calendars, payments, a basic pipeline and a handover so you can run it. Bigger builds are quoted separately. We'll give you a straight timeline on the discovery call.

Do I need to be techy to use it?
No. HighLevel is the platform, and the monthly price is HighLevel itself. We can set it up around how you already work, and show your team round so it gets opened rather than ignored. Set-up and looking after it are extras.
Can I meet you in person?
Yes. FKIT is run by Ben Pedley, based just outside Burton Upon Trent. If you're in Burton or nearby, we're happy to meet face to face, or do a video call if that's easier. People buy from people, and we'd rather you knew who you're dealing with.

Which areas do you cover?
We're Staffordshire-first: Burton Upon Trent and East Staffordshire, Lichfield, Tamworth, Uttoxeter and Stafford, plus Swadlincote, South Derbyshire and Derby. Most of the work can be done remotely, so if you're further afield, ask anyway.

What happens on the discovery call?
It's a 20 to 30 minute chat about your process, what's causing the pain, and whether to set something up, connect it or build something new. Straight talking, no slide decks. We might even tell you that you don't need what you think you need.

What's the difference between FKIT and M-Piric?
M-Piric looks after IT, infrastructure, security and support. FKIT does the automation, HighLevel and software side: the systems that bring work in and stop it slipping through the cracks. Ben is part of both. They just do different jobs.
